Restaurants & Bars 7

D'Amico Cucina

My wife and I went to the bar to take advantage of what Zimmern called "the best bar menu deal in Twin Cities." The bar is expensive, the menu quite small. We had a pizza, which I thought eccentric, and a pasta appetizer. as well as wine and beer. I did not find it a particularly good deal (I think I paid 76 dollars for the two of us). The dessert was extraordinary, really special, and even the bartender said that the desserts exceed the main menu. My main objection is that the "bar menu" was really small. The interior is elegant and the service was very good. One quirk: the restaurant is in what has to be one of the ugliest buildings in Minneapolis, in a city with lots of ugly buildings!
