A food- and wine-loving best friend and I recently ventured to Dali for an early mid-week supper of tapas. Front room was hopping with at least two big groups of very happy people. Seated in the quieter back room we had a completely satisfying arugula and baby spinach salad with raisins, pine nuts and a warm lemon/olive oil dressing. Also enjoyed two little spiced lamb-cicyles, dates stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, and a mound of soothing potato salad. All was accompanied by a young-ish and insouciant rioja which we polished off before tumbling out to Kirkland street. Definitely worth a visit. Service was warm, attentive and thoughtful.
