daisy may bbq

i've read differing opinions on this board, but went to check out daisy may for the first time today. wanted to thank folks for their recommendations...

the chili, yum-- beef chunks, tender, flavorful, way better than ground meet options. perfect level of spicy kick, with a slight sweetness to the sauce that was not overpowering.

creamed spinach- yum. creamy, vegetal, almost grassy, really really good.

peaches in bourbon overly sweet and gloppy

on an unrelated note, the sullivan st bakery nearby had no celery root pizza. bummer. will head downtown instead of way west on my next food expedition.
