Im not quite a full blown vegetarian yet but am working on it. I am a breastfeeding mom with a son who has dairy sensitivity so I have fully given up dairy...so I guess you could say Im practically vegan! Ha! With Thanksgiving next week I will be bringing most of my own food to avoid any food issues with the host and how she prepares her meal. I would love to find a great gravy recipe that doesn't have butter or any type of milk. What is the best non-dairy milk for savory dishes like a gravy? I normally have coconut milk with cereal and coffee but even the non-sweeted seems sweet to me. Any info or recipes would be appreciated! Many thanks in advance.
