Anyone else read Lisa Amand's Bites column in today's Daily News? She begins by saying "In the past, Brooklyn's Seventh Ave. has been known as a street where restaurants come to die. No more. Now there's a glimmer of change seen along the strip, especially on the blocks below Ninth St., known as South Slope."
She then lists five places that she says are noteworthy:
Chez Isabelle Bistrot
The only one of these I've been to is Cafe Steinhof, and I do agree that it is a pretty good restaurant for 7th Avenue.
Any comments on her column or on the other places?
