Da Hua Market gone

Bucky | May 25, 2005 03:34 PM

Yet another nail in the coffin of DC's Chinablock. I walked past the Da Hua market on H Street this weekend -- it is closed -- the space is up for lease.

While it years ago stopped selling fish and poultry -- and the fresh produce was recently limited to some bok choy and daikon, it still had a great selection of canned and bottled goods.

With Mee Wah Lung's demise last year, I think it just leaves the little store around the corner on 7th.
