A nicely prepared and excellent lunch- as usual. A nice formal dining room, but don't be intimidated. The owner works in the kitchen. And he can cook! - like a chef-mother, rather than assemble like a line cook.
Northern Italian cooking, with minimal frou- frou. Here there is no slamon with foie gras, garnished with blah-blah from Timbuktu. Just good ingredients well prepared from beginning to end.
