Cuy or other exotic cuisine in Chicago?

I just got off the phone with Taqueria La Sierra and they told me that the city has banned cuy in restaurants for 2 years. I am a very adventurous eater, having dined on insects, live octopus tentacles, silkworm cocoons and more. This is my first trip to Chicago, and i was hoping to try something new and unusual. If not cuy in Chicago, does anyone have any other recommendations?
