Custom-Printed M&M's

Caitlin McGrath | Oct 2, 200609:11 AM     7

M&M's aren't my candy of choice. I like to expend my chocolate calories on bittersweet chocolate, maybe with some nice flavoring. And my SO said not long after we met, many years ago, that I'd "converted" him to dark chocolate (I wasn't trying, must've been exposure), so my chocolate gifts to him are usually high quality. But he'll still hoover up M&M's on occasion, and I admit I'm excited about presenting him with something that's at once mass produced and, er, speaks to him, for his b-day. This is truly a gift where it's the thought that counts [g].

You choose two from around 18 colors, and you can have a separate message printed on each color (or one message printed on both). You get two lines, with eight charcters/spaces per line, printed in black (the standard "m" is on the reverse side). The web site gives you a preview of how your M&M's will look.

Naturally, they don't come cheap. The minimum order is 4 7-oz. bags at $11.25 per bag ($45), plus shipping ($12.95 for a $45 order). There are more expensive packaging options, as well.

There is a promotion code that'll get you a free bag with any order, good through November 7: EVERYDAY7
