I recently became interested in Indian cooking (again) and purchased some prepared curry powder from an Indian grocery store. I have used generic McCormick, and bought the imported types many, many years ago and even made my own once. This curry powder STAINED everything, the counters, cutting board, even my fancy new spatulas that tomato sauce won't even discolor. Is there a specific spice in the blend that might be doing this? I am in fear of my napkins!
