Curry Leaf in Brooklyn Heights - Help

MichaelZ | Jan 11, 2005 08:59 PM

Curry Leaf has common ownership with Kalustyan's indian spoecialty store and restaurant in Manhattan. It has always been good, and has recently been serving even better Indian cuisine on Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights. It deserves our patronage, but is often nearly empty, while the really vile Amin on Montague St pulls people in. Curry Leaf is good, with both the traditional "favorites", as well as some really authentic Indian specialties. They deliver, as well, promptly and accurately.

I want to urge all neighborhood Hounds, or casual visitors to the site to try Curry Leaf and hopefully like it when you do. If a restaurant that is trying to produce a quality product and succeeding doesn't draw enough customers to make a go of it, we lose twice - when the place closes and again when the next potential quality place hesitates to enter the neighborhood.
