Curry Leaf

Finally got around to ordering out for delivery from Curry Leaf last night. I was pretty impressed. I'll say that, like all NY Indian restaurants that do delivery, the prices were too high for what it is (well, compared to what you pay for Indian in the UK anyway and compared to what you pay for other comparable restaurants with other ethnic foods like thai, vietnamese, chinese, etc in NY). BUT, that said, it was quite good. The sauces were very thick (as I like them) and flavorful. Very good tikka masala which tends to be very bland at many Indian takeouts. Kadai lamb was also very good--tasty lamb, chunks of cauliflower, etc. Again very thick sauce with lots of flavor. Naan was okay, a little soggy from the foil, but that's delivery for you... The garlic naan was particularly tasty.

Very good, ample portions with a lot of meat (again, unlike most Indian delivery I've had in NY). Huge portion of rice.

2 entrees and a couple naan was about $30. Will definitely order from there again, certainly the best indian ive had in brooklyn/cobble hill area so far.
