Best cultural history of wine?

CH-ers: I'm teaching a Religious Studies seminar this fall about basic foods in a cultural context ("Bread, Meat, Salt, and Wine") and the textbook I ordered (R. Philips, A Short History of Wine) is apparently unavailable. Can anyone suggest a readable alternative? It's an undergraduate course, so accessibility is an issue. Thanks in advance.
