B, L, D in (or around) Culpeper

krisrishere | May 15, 201512:30 PM     6

I was thinking of heading up to Culpeper for a day/night. Drive up early on Saturday morning..go shopping, relax, whatever.

I've never been so I'd like recs for lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Maybe lunch can be something easy we can take with us to a Civil War site or park. We're not picky eaters; dinner can be upscale.

A friend told me about It's About Thyme - which she enjoyed, though I'm not sure if that was specifically geared towards lunch or dinner. I have heard rave reviews about their "Culpeper Crack". I've also been told to stop by Knakal's Bakery for a doughnut.

Any suggestions?
