Culinary Tour of SD for Mamas with Babies

suelawriw | Jan 8, 201101:18 PM     2

I searched the board and didn't quite find what I was looking for so I thought I'd add a new topic. I'm in charge of organizing a Culinary Tour of SD for my mamas group and I'm looking for recommendations. Obviously the places would need to be somewhat baby/kid friendly!

Here's what I'm thinking...we'd like to go to places when they are least busy - think early or late lunch, or early dinner, or even brunch on a weekday. I know this rules out many places that are exclusively dinner, but I know there are a lot of other places out there that would fit the bill.

Very interested in organic, local, sustainbly focuesd restaurants..."farm to table." Open to unique ideas like food trucks, food booths, or even catering places that we could order boxed lunches from and meet at a park.

We really want to delve into the "foodie food" of San Diego...please help. Thanks!!
