cucumber wrapped sushi

jellopixy | Jun 18, 2007 11:57 AM

I'm looking for a particular kind of sushi roll. I've had it up in NY under the name "Canadian Roll," but I haven't found anything like it in this area.

The roll is just avocado and crab stick, no rice. Instead of nori, they use thin sheets of cucumber to wrap it, then it is served with a sweet vinegar sauce.

Has anyone had this in this area or seen it on the menu? I'm from Ellicott City, but I'm willing to travel around for it. I'm often both north of Baltimore and down in NoVa.

Thanks for the help.
