Any Cuban Markets Around?

Marc | Sep 24, 200312:23 AM

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for any markets that sell a particular kind of paper that can be boiled. You see, my grandmother was Cuban and she used to make a dish that was rice with meat, olives, tomatos ect. However you had to wrap these up in paper and boil it so it all sticks together. They were called pastellas. Well, my mother lives out of state and can't find this paper anywhere so she asked me to try the latino and ethnic markets here in LA. Any idea what this paper is called or where I can find some to send to my mom?
PS - Oddly enough I never see pastellas on the menu when I dine and any of the several Cuban restaurants. Maybe these are know as something else?
