I just returned from a week in Paris. Had croissants from many different locations in the city. I used St. Paul's Trung Nam French Bakery croissants as a benchmark. Funny thing is that Trung Nam could not be beat. In my opinion anyway they are still the best. Put them on a baking sheet and warm for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Not a better Sunday morning breakfast than one of those babies with fresh squeezed orange juice, good coffee and some decent jam.
