Our croissant taste-off

With my parents in town and a crowd arriving for the weekend, we went off today in search of the best brunch items. Croissants were a high priority. After many stops, we had gathered up samples from LeBus, Miel, Aux Petits Delices, Le Petit Mitron, and one other, the packaging for which got lost in the gluttonous confusion. The winner: Le Petit Mitron, 207 Haverford Ave., Narberth, PA. Nothing else was even close! Their croissant (we sampled plain and almond) are superlative! They also sell amazing mini quiches in three flavors (loved the spinach), and beautiful-looking desserts (to be sampled another day). I can't believe I had never even tried this place before! It's worth traveling for.
