crock pot

meagan | Oct 25, 2005 07:36 PM

I bought a crock pot last year so I could come home to a hot meal on a cold rainy day like this. My problem with my crock pot is that whatever I make in it tastes like the crock pot...a weird metallo-plasticy kind of taste. Even recipes with lots of herbs&garlic&onions. Has anybody else had this experience? Any suggestions to get rid of it? Did I read somewhere that you could line the crock pot with aluminum foil or use a boil-in-bag kind of thing? I have never used a boil-in-bag. Thanks for any ideas.
