Critique my london choices?

sam1 | Dec 16, 201506:01 AM

i go to london about once a year and my next trip is approaching in february. i live in nyc so prefer to stick to food that i cant get here when i go to london...most notably british and modern takes on indian/southeast asian/middle eastern. i was hoping you kind folk could chime in with some thoughts? ill be there for 3 lunches and 3 dinners.

wed lunch: near hotel would be hoppers and dishoom by covent garden. never been to either. would they be mobbed at lunch?
wed dinner: marksman in shoreditch. every time i go, there's always another new pub getting all the attention and this time it seems to be marksman. is it good? should i swap for somewhere else?

thur lunch: jose...figured id go after a morning at the tate modern. is it mobbed for a mid-week lunch?
thur dinner: trishna...loved it the last time i went and looking forward to bringing my new wife here

fri lunch: rochelle canteen...always a favorite of mine...this is sort of a must every time im in town.
fri dinner: last night out...was contemplating something fun and lively. is taberna do mercado worthwhile? any recommendation for something lively with a good scene? was contemplating trying honey and co again but its a bit too sedate.

last question...is kitty fishers any good or a lot of hype?

thx in advance.
