There was a restaurant near me that recently closed, and they made the best peach cobbler! Now I'm on a mission to find the recipe but every one I try doesn't turn out right.
The recipe I'm looking for had a crunchy, crispy crust, almost. It wasn't like biscuit dough (every single recipe I've found that mentions the "crispy" crust is like having biscuits with a crispy top on top. It's still biscuit-like under that thin layer). It was almost like they used a ton of sugar (though it wasn't any more sweet than most peach cobblers), with almost what I'd call a gritty texture. I think what I'm looking for is actually peach crumble but it seems that every recipe I've found involves oats and I know they didn't use oats.
Is there anyone out there who could help, maybe you know of a recipe similar to what I'm describing?
