I have a potato slicer that slices 1/4" fries. The first time I deep fried french fries I cooked them once, let them cool, and cooked them again. They were perfect crispy fries.
Unfortunately, I did not write down what I did and since then my fries have been the typical wimpy fries which I am accustomed to having.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to cook the french fries so that they are nice and crispy?
