Help! For reasons that are beyond this forum, there's at least 2 lbs of perfectly good, fresh, raw skinless boneless chicken breasts sitting in the fridge at my office. We've got a full kitchen. What we don't have are a lot of spices or other things one would normally need to make boneless skinless chicken breasts delightful and tasty. There are some other random items in the fridge -- about 3 C of buttermilk, plenty of half and half, milk, and heavy cream. There's salt and pepper and maybe some garlic powder. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can save this chicken from the inevitable trash can? I can't cook it in any way that requires constant checking (I am at work). I was thinking about baking the chicken in the buttermilk in a low oven, covered, but wasn't sure if this was ill-fated and gross. I know you can marinate chicken in buttermilk to good effect... Thoughts? Solutions? Can this chicken be saved? Thanks!
