We're headed for the first time to Rome the first week of April and thought it'd be fun to create our own food tour based on community feedback. Our thoughts were precipitated on a list of 100 things to eat in San Francisco that comes out every year. The list provides specific menu items at various restaurants throughout the SF area. Although we can't cross off 100, we're there for 5 days and figure we may hit 20-25. We have no food or location preferences (well except for me it's gelato and him it's any coffee) and are looking forward to all suggestions.
What dish, appetizer, dessert, experience would you add to the list? I'll be poking around in the Rome discussions to help my list. Thank you!
