cream-based soups: do they freeze well?

A few days ago I made a lovely potato-fennel soup with cream. Since then the weather has just gotten way too hot and humid to enjoy said soup, and I was hoping I could freeze it for a later day.

I've never frozen anything made with cream, though. Anyone? Will it work? Or will it taste terrible once thawed?
