Is it just me, or is it hard to find crawfish that are edible in this city?? I've lived in Houston for 20 years and every season it seems my boyfriend and I are 'on the hunt' for big, spicy crawfish! We have found there are good crawfish at some festivals (Old Town Spring in May is the best choice), and some good crawfish at real 'hole-in-the-wall' places. Still, no one place has ever been consistent. My boyfriend is from Louisiana, and we just can't find the big, spicy ones like they have over there. 99% of the places we try in Houston, just boil them and sprinkle them with cajun sesaoning...blech!!!! We feel SPOILED after coming back from trips to Louisiana. I feel like we've tried 'em all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
