Craving Spag. Carbonara - What are Your SF & North Penninsula Faves?

I'm craving carbonara. I have the Zuni cookbook which features a kinda eccentric recipe (ricotta), but I don't know if they even serve it anymore. Also, though I've never actually eaten at Pasta Pomodoro (should I? What do you especially like there?) I've perused their take-out menu and see they offer S.C., as does the U.S. Cafe in North Beach - any thoughts on these versions? But I'd like to hear about your own favorite carbonara-serving restaurants in SF or the northern penninsula, and what makes them outstanding.
