I'm making curry chicken salad for the upcoming hot weekend. Adding the usual accompaniments: halved red grapes, red onion, and a nut. I like celery in chicken salad so I will probably add some. For the nut, will pecans work (I have some already)? Should I toast them first? Epicurious recipe calls for mayo & plain yogurt...can I just use mayo?
What else am I missing? Any other ideas? Thanks.
