Crappy food in Taos

Ranchman | May 28, 2005 02:08 PM

My wife and I visit Taos frequently in that we live in Pueblo, Colorado. On returning home from a Taos visit this week we both agreed that we have never had a good meal in Taos. Most recently we 'dined' at the Apple Tree in Taos. My wife had good Chile Rellenos ...but my shrimp scampi was crap..and at $20.00. We ate on the patio which has about four inches of large gravel as flooring. When you sit in the flimsy plastic chairs...they sink into the gravel and the table top ends up at chin level.
