Craigslist Copper

justin89k | Mar 9, 201909:37 AM     11

I'm looking what looks to be two tin lined brass handled William Sonoma Villedieu copper gratin pans on craigslist in my area for $150. One is 12x8 and the other is 10.5 by 7. The tin seem to be in good shape. They've been up for about 2 months so I imagine there might be some wiggle room on the price. Is this a good deal?

Any ideas on thickness?

Does anyone have experience with tin lined gratin? My thought was that a gratin might be one of the pans that most benefit from a stainless lining so that you could turn on the broiler without worry. Appreciate any insight.
