I finally made it to Craigie Street Bistro and it was everything I expected it to be...delicious! I had the neighborhood pre fixe and had the best chicken I have ever tasted. I have no idea how they get the chicken to be so tender..it practically melted off the bone. I'm not a huge fan of fennel but the fennel raisen sauce it was served in was amazing. My fiance had the foi gras and sirloin. Both were great! We also had a great bottle of wine that was recommended by our very friendly and attentive waitress. I forget the name of it, but it was a new. The dessert, though, was the highlight. Who knew that grits could be served as dessert?? The grits were served with a caramelized topping, some nuts, raisens, cinnamon and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Outstanding! I will definitely be back.
