Today, I treated myself to dinner at Craftbar (recently moved around the corner onto Bway).
FOr appetizer I had the stuffed pigs foot. This was outstanding. The foot was stuffed with chopped meat from the trotter, along with onions, scallions, and seasonings, it was served with some salad greens (not sure what, might be chicory). An outstanding dish. The richness and fattiness of the pork was nicely cut by the sharpness of both the onions and the greens.
For main course, I had the tagliatele with sea urchin. It was good. Somewhere there's an ideal version of the 'hot pasta with sea urchin" - somewhere between the version at Basta Pasta, where the sea urchin was overwhelming and too raw, and craftbar, where the urchin was not really that identifiable. Still, I like both these versions.
For dessert, the banana chocolate cake.....excellent.
