Went to Craft for dinner last night - it was a great experience overall. After starters we split the duck and had the ramps and risotto, followed by a cheese course - all good. The service was fantastic. But the bill with tip was almost $300 for two people (including wine).
I'm a decent cook but no professional, yet I couldn't help thinking that if I bought top-shelf ingredients, I could have made everything we had for a heck of a lot cheaper.
What is it about this place that makes everyone go wild for it? Did we miss some key menu item?
