$24.00 an order but, man oh man, were they good! Two fat cakes of sweet backfin blue crab--no breading, spices, what-have-you--just enough egg binder to hold them together. The best I ever had in a restaurant, including G&H Seafood in Linthicum, MD. You hear me, Joe H.? Also, the fried squid was perfect. Lightly breaded, lightly fried, tender with an outer crunch. The hot crab dip, my usual favorite, didn't have enough crab this time. But those crab cakes--Lordy!
Turns out the owners are from Maryland. I've been to this place at the foot of Clematis street many times
for lunch drinks and apps. (and, of course, the unsurpassed view of Palm Beach and the downtown waterfront) but this visit really knocked me out.
