Crab Cakes in Yorktown

cecelia | Dec 20, 2003 07:55 AM

We went looking for the Greek seafood place in Yorktown that I had read about on Chowhound. Found it closed as there was major damage sustained from the hurricane. The place was a mess.

Down the shoreline was a colorful bar place where we hoped to have a hot drink. There wasn't much available for hot drinks. We had a cold drink and after much debate, decided to order a crab cake dinner to share.

I had only had one previous, disappointing experience with Leesburg, VA crabcakes. The ones in Yorktown were very good to me--a non-expert.

The meal was $12.50 and included 2 or 3 sides of veggies. Filled the two of us up for the dark drive dodging deer back to Williamsburg.
