At 26 years old, I've never had a crab cake. I don't know why, just never came up for some reason. After seeing a segment on FoodTV (and it being mussels are a no-no right now), I want to try my hand at them. What I'm finding though is that everyone seems to have their own way of doing them, using all sorts of ingredients.... Seeing as how I'm basically blind on this, can someone help me out?
What is THE BEST recipe? Which dip/tartar/aioli is best accompanying? What do I serve on the side with them? And last, any drink choices?
