Where's all the crab?

So I decide to have some live crab for a post-Thanksgiving dinner with the family and head down to Clement Street. Both May Wah stores were sold out, as were the seafood markets at 5th/Clement and the one on Clement (btwn 7th & 8th). Not only that, but the prices were more expensive than last week (when they wer $2.59/lb).

As a last resort, I walk down to the last seafood market on Clement (btwn 9th & 10th) and they have some live ones left but they are $3.99 a pound.

Oh well, perhaps there were no deliveries on T-Day so people bought everything up and markets raised prices. In any case, I got a couple 2+ pounders and the crabs were delicious with green onion & ginger.
