Hi, I'm back! I ended up having a wonderful Sunday night dinner at Barrafina on my September trip. Thanks to all who helped with that.
The whole family will be in London for just a couple of days in late November. We have already booked one dinner for one of those night at the River Cafe. I'm looking for someplace a bit more low key the other night. We'll be staying near Hyde Park corner this trip (yes, tough area for food, I'm guessing) but don't mind an easy tube ride. Lulu and I have been to Great Queen St. twice. The first time was great, the second time was good but not earth-shatteringly so. But I'm looking for something similar (and I loved Magdalen Arms in Oxford - that kind of place would be great). An easy, cozy place with wonderful food. We'll have just spent time in Spain and Italy, so I'm thinking we'll skip restaurants that specialized in those foods. British food would be preferred. Anything come immediately to mind? Many thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
