Covid and picking off another’s plate

carolandersonl | Apr 12, 202102:11 PM     40

Just after Covid vax , I went to lunch with an acquaintance. She said she didn’t want dessert. I ordered cake and got an extra plate for her. As she then wanted, a third was put on her plate. She quickly ate it and then began digging into my plate. This surprised & disturbed me. I’m a slow eater, have COPD and am Covid conscious. I left the rest of my cake. She didn’t chip in. I’d gladly have given her half. It’s the potential Covid risk that upsets me. She socializes a lot with travelers. Later I emailed her that the Covid vaccine is not 100% bullet proof, but doubt she got the point. What could I have done?
