I want to attend one of two dinner events, one will be at Peacock Alley, the other at Country Restaurant. I have never been to either nor do I know anything about either chef. The dinner will be a special menu for that one evening so their normal menu would not indicated what will be served. The respective chefs will compose a menu based on a theater performance given during dinner. So it would depend more on the chef's style of cooking rather than the type of restaurant it is. I went to a previous dinner hosted by the same group, Eating Their Words, held at the Tasting Room. The food was excellent and Chef Alevras came around to each table telling us how and why he created each dish based on each of the actors in the performance.. It was such an amazing experience to see the thought process behind the concept of the dish and how it was so artistically and deliciously executed. I can only budget one of the next two events so would love any help on deciding. Any experiences or information on either place or chef would help me greatly in making my decision. Thanks in advance.
