Couleur Cafe

Yesterday we went to Jocelyn Bulow's new restaurant Coleur Cafe on Deharo and 16th, next to Sally's Place and the Metronome. The menu looked a lot like the one at Chez Maman. I had the salade nicoise, which tasted almost exactly like the one at Chez Maman, which is the truest version of the salad I've had in California. My wife had the roasted chicken, which is not on the Chez Maman menu, and it was fantastic. It's grilled on a rotisserie. It was also served with a really delicious jus and great fried (which I think were fried in peanut oil, and some people might think taste a little funky). Best of all, Coleur Cafe is open until 3am from Wednesday to Saturday. When we were there, around 7pm, there was only one other couple dining there.
