Let's face it. Costco, for all its obscene excesses, can be a great place to shop. Their buyers have a very good eye for things of good quality that can be sold in massive quantities.
I have a list of favorite items that I hone in on.
1-lb block of Valbreso French Feta
Kirkland brand cold thin cut roast beef
tomatoes on the vine
Organic romaine lettuce Caeser salad in a bag
very good pita bread
wonderful basil pesto sold near the blocks of Reggiano
Parmesan cheese (very reasonalbly priced)
Pork and beef tenderloin
Prepared Greek salad in a pinch
Please share your favorite food or liquor items. Particularly any wine suggestions would be appreciated.
