I'm not sure why I haven't tried this earlier in life, but today must've been one those seminal days where all the planetary objects of any import all lined up just right.
Weather in SGV = 75 F. Just pleasant enough for ice cream/frozen yogurt.
Alhambra Costco = Churros
Fosselman's Ice Cream = Vanilla and Pineapple Frozen Yogurt.
Bought some churros and took them to Fosselman's and chomped them down with vanilla/pineapple yogurt. THIS WAS FABULOUS. Used the churros sort of like an edible ice-cream stick - scooping copious amounts of yogurt with the fried crullers. WOW. Crunchy, sweet, soft, hot, cold ... just lovely.
Dunno why I never did this earlier in life ... but now that I have ... can barely wait for those muggy 100F days in SGV! :-)
