Need help with Costa Brava this summer

sam1 | Mar 29, 201706:09 PM

We're returning to Begur and will have a car. We were here in 2014 and just fell in love with the area so we're spending our entire time at the beach rather than any extra days in Barcelona.

We are comfortable driving so we were thinking of spending a day in Cadaques and we love Girona so we'll be there 1-2 days as well.

I can really use some help because we're not finding a lot of information online or on chowhound. We've found the following places and we're most interested in the ones at the beginning. Money isn't an object but we've found that we are not tasting menu people. We're on the waitlist every night we're there for Cellar Can Roca but mainly just because we felt if we had the opportunity, we'd try it. We actually prefer traditional food. Last time we were in town, we loved Sa Rascassa and Nu restaurant in Girona but did not like toc al mar and boca in regencos was fun but forgettable.

any opinions on these?
-compartir for lunch...sort of a must. my only question is if we are spending the morning on the beach, will we be appropriate for lunch here?
-bo tic for dinner. this is near begur and has a michelin star. doesnt seem too pricey.
-sa rascassa...we have to return one night here for dinner.
-la calendula in regencos for dinner looks nice and fun.
-casamar in llafranc...its close to us and looks good.
-iberic restaurant
-ca l'enric
-casa anita in cadaques
-massana in girona
-les magnolies
-ca l'arpa
-el far

thanks in advance
