Corona Park Pork Store, Cascon Cheescake, Sorriso

I had a bbq this weekend and offered to pick up the sausages.

I went to the Corona Park Prok Store on Clintonville and 14th Ave (I think). The sausage was excellent - fennel, spicy and sweet. I also picked up the BEST FRESH MOZZARELLA I've ever had - everyone raved about this (and the sausage). Great place, got a 24-bottle case of Chinotto for only $10, too!

This place was the "original" then his son open the CHPS in Corona, by spaghetti park, that everyone raves about.

Aside from this, I picked up a pinwheel of cheese and parsley sausage at Sorriso's on 150st, by 14th ave. It's the second shop opened by the guys with the same place in Astoria. Great sausage as well.

Both places are very nice, friendly, stacked with goodies - both prepared and packaged. All Italian goodies.

Finally, picked up 2 cheesecakes from my favorite place - Cascon. It is EXCELLENT. On 149st and 7th ave. Very thick and rich. A couple more and I get a freebie (on my freq. cust. card)!

All places are highly recommeded. Finally, Whitestone gets some "props!"
