Corona Heights Pork Store

After reading about it on this great board, I finally got around to try it -- only to find it closed.

Is it closed for renovation? Was it sold? Can anyone please help me out? Nothing takes the taste out of chicken parm than renovations.

I know, I should've called, but I'm a spur of the moment sandwich kind of guy. Was a bummer cause it took forever getting out there and I got kind of lost.

I tried the salumeria just down the block but the counter girl mumbled something about being sold out of chicken parm. I settled for a hero (ham, genoa, sopressata, provelone, sweet peppers), which was good but probably a notch below Mike's on Arthur Ave.
