I'm excited - in May I'll be spending a bit over a week in Cornwall. Hiking, reading, sleeping and, of course, eating and drinking. I'll have 3 nights in St. Ives and 4 in Padstow. I've searched the boards and gotten some good ideas, but thought I'd run them by the UK board regulars and see if you have thoughts or additions. I'll also spend a night in Exeter. After a week of eating, probably won't feel like Michael Caines, but let me know if I'm insane.
I don't eat red meat. Willing to pay for great food. Here are the places I'm considering now. Very appreciative of any help (yes/no/additions).
Upstairs on the Wharf
Porthminster Beach Cafe
would also love a nice cozy pub suggestion
Paul Ainsworth's No. 6
The Basement Cafe
Bin 2 (more than wine available?)
possibly go over to Nathan Outlaw's Grill
again, cozy pub suggestion would be nice
1 night Exeter - thinking I'll be ready for something a bit different.
Thanks in advance.
