When I lived in the Bay Area (CA), there were a few pizza places that specialized in cornmeal crust pizza. This is NOT regular crust with a dusting of cornmeal on the bottom. It is made entirely from cornmeal & olive oil (and probably some water). There may be a little bit of regular flour in it, but I don't think so.
I have yet to find anyplace in Boston (where I live) that has cornmeal crust pizza, but I'm hoping and expecting that New York City will surely have it somewhere. Please advise!
FYI - the two places with great cornmeal crust pizza in the Bay Area are Mozzarella d'Buffalo (San Francisco)and Pizza Rustica (berkeley).
