Just curious what the general consensus is on Corner Bakery - the chain of sandwich/salad/dessert restaurants. We've been going there for several years and, while still good, the food quality doesn't seem to be of the level when we first started going there. Maybe I'm just tiring of eating there. I'm referring specifically to the sandwiches/soups as oppposed to the baked goods, which we really don't indulge in.
You would think the food was incredible based on the crowds and lines I've seen. I was at the Pasadena location mid-week last week at lunchtime and the line was out the door and around the block. (This location is on Lake Street with literally tens of restaurants to choose from). This isn't the first time I've seen this at numerous locations.
Is it all that?
